“I have been using exclusively a Gibellini 8×10” camera which I call “Red Molly” as my studio camera since 2014. I have made over 2000 wet plate collodion plates with my camera in that time. It has been my primary studio camera all these years and it has been on many adventures outside the studio as well. It has captured the likes of Evander Holyfield the four time Heavyweight Champion of the World, Ernie LaPointe, the great grandson of Sitting Bull and has captured the wild horses from the Teddy Roosevelt Reserve.
My life’s work “Northern Plains Native Americans: A Modern Wet Plate Perspective” has been made solely with my Gibellini. The camera has never let me down and is the workhorse at my natural light Nostalgic Glass Wet Plate Studio located in Bismarck, North Dakota”
